Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Technical and Operational Accounting, you help with the monthly and annual close process and financial reporting, ensuring timely filings.
You will:
- Manage the monthly and quarterly consolidation
- Manage monthly closing workpapers (ie. accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals)
- Review and approve monthly journal entries
- Assist and drive the coordination and review of our international operations financial statements to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of monthly reporting results for our international operations
- Assist with SEC financial reporting processes and initiatives, including related activities
- Develop and maintain a well-documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Ability to take on special projects and other day to day bookkeeping
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of various new systems and processes
- Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff
- Support Global Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements
You have:
- 5+ years previous accounting experience
- Big 4 or other large public accounting firm experience required
- Excellent analytical skills (data collection and modeling, what-if scenarios) and problem solving
- Proven history of effective management, including ability to lead and develop junior members of a team
- Robust interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with confidence to engage with senior Finance executives across multiple departments
- Willingness to adapt to a high growth environment
Benefits:
The salary range for this role will be between $100,000 to $130,000 (USD). Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, your location, skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. During the phone screening, the recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
