Advertiser Sales and Account Management Director (ANZ)

Taboola is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director Media to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team consisting of a Account Managers and Sales Managers, focusing on driving growth strategies for existing advertising partnerships and developing innovative sales strategies to meet the demand for new advertising opportunities.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager ANZ, you will take a proactive approach to shape the future of our advertising business, ensuring its long-term success. You will go beyond immediate performance metrics, actively educating and influencing perceptions of our brand among advertisers. Your efforts will be pivotal in strengthening Taboola's market presence and refining our marketing strategies for sustained growth and impact.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership in diverse team environments. With strong analytical skills and relationships within the advertising and media agency industry, you will effectively interpret market trends and client data to drive strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the advertising landscape to identify growth opportunities and effectively manage both current and prospective business.
  • Develop quarterly strategic plans to propel growth within the existing client base and meet overall business targets.
  • Create sales plans to generate a high-quality pipeline of leads, successfully closing strategic advertising deals.
  • Utilise consultative sales techniques to build strong client relationships and uncover opportunities for upselling and optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, proactively addressing areas for improvement and driving collective success across the region.
  • Provide valuable insights from clients to the product management team to inform the development of new product features.
  • Collaborate closely with the publisher side of the business to advocate for advertiser success, offering valuable insights from the advertising perspective.

People Management:

  • Engage cross-functional teams to execute growth strategies and drive advertiser success.
  • Demonstrate the behaviours and attitudes you wish to see in your team. Show respect to all team members, communicate openly and transparently, and foster a collaborative environment where everyone's contributions are valued.
  • Foster Collaboration and Teamwork. Create opportunities for collaboration and teamwork within the team and across departments.   • Develop personal growth plans for the Account Management & Sales team, ensuring alignment with Taboola's best practices.
  • Provide support to the Account Management & Sales teams in client management, coaching them to achieve their goals and assisting with budgeting and scaling efforts.
