We’re looking for a Advisory Services Consultant (CPG) to lead an industry within our Advisory Services team. This role will oversee the client deliverables and strategy for expanding the book of business within the vertical. As a senior consultant, you will oversee the custom data and consulting deliveries for our industry clients. You will also help to define the go-to-market strategy within your industry with our partners in the commercial organisation. Day to day, you will help lead project analysis and deck creation to tell compelling, data-driven stories for our clients. You will also grow to be the industry expert to help clients and prospects understand how to utilize Similarweb data to meet their business objectives. 

This role will report to the Director, Advisory Services, where the candidate must be able to excel in a fast-paced organisation with high expectations on the quality of deliverables. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant or insights leader seeking to join a high-performing, mission-driven team.

So, what will you be doing all day?

  • Scope and translate client needs into clear data sets and deliverables to answer clients’ pain points using Similarweb’s full range of data assets
  • Lead analysis with different kinds of data to address clients’ business questions. Present actionable insights to clients through clear and compelling storytelling
  • Lead communications and interactions with our clients to grow and strengthen all aspects of an engagement
  • Generate strategy to scale sub-vertical book of business through new logo acquisition and upsell
  • Stay abreast on client challenges, competitors and overall industry trends and changes, in order to understand client context and business requirements

This is the perfect job for someone who:

  • Minimum of 5 years of consulting or brand experience, preferably within the B2C space
  • Hands-on experience utilising qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and working in market research, data analytics, digital intelligence, and creating industry reports
  • Strong analytical skills (ability to synthesise complex information from multiple sources)
  • Intellectually curious, data-savvy, and data-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills (ability to navigate complex organisation structures and influence accordingly to succeed)
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and thrives in managerial role managing a team of insights leaders
  • Collaborative and solution-minded with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication kills
