Position Overview: 

Reporting to the Vice President of Events, the marketing analyst primary duties include planning firm-wide events as well as coordinating the sourcing, negotiation, production, and dissemination of EU produced StepStone branded materials to internal and external event attendees. This role is also responsible for the coordination of events with multiple teams spread across Europe. This role will also be responsible for the collaborative maintenance of the firm’s registration platforms, ensuring requisite updates are made, building out the use of data automation and managing their overall operation to meet the business’ need.  

Primary Responsibilities include: 
  • With minimal oversight, managing firm-wide event logistics for internal and external, virtual and in-person, client-facing engagement opportunities including budgeting and contract review, registration site creation, thank you messaging, surveys recordings download and use, track event attendance (30%) 
  • Collaborate with team on conferences and event programs, including content generation, vendor negotiations, logistics management, and attendee & speaker coordination (30%) 
  • Support content management team with asset class specific content as needed (10%) 
  • Field marketing support on Industry conferences: exhibit coordination to include production and shipping of exhibit materials to different locations; ordering exhibitor services and potential for travel (10%)  
  • Coordinate sourcing, negotiation, production, and dissemination of StepStone branded materials manufactured in the EU with colleagues in the US (10%) 
  • Conduct various research projects and report on the findings (5%) 
Educations and/or Work Experience Requirements: 
  • 3 years of experience 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, finance (or other related degree preferred), prior internship experience required 
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, asset management or other related businesses (preferred) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Data-driven mentality and attention to detail 
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability 
  • Advanced MS Office and Adobe skills 
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment 
  • Enthusiastic team player 
  • Knowledge of web-based applications, creative design and HTML (preferred)
