The role of the Area Sales Manager - Northern Europe is tasked with elevating Bob W's performance within the defined region by actively seeking, securing, and overseeing Local corporate accounts & relationships. This pivotal position is an integral part of Bob W's Commercial team.You are an experienced hospitality sales professional, with people management experience who can leverage their existing network of travel buyers in the Norther Europe to establish Bob W as the preferred accommodation provider of choice, with the support of a small team of Sales Associates.As a self-starter, you possess the initiative to independently cultivate and foster relationships. Your approach is strategic, leading to profitable revenue generation and fostering strong brand loyalty.

The role in a nutshell:

  • Establish and take responsibility for the whole in city B2B strategy and business development cycle.
  • Ensure skyrocketing growth in direct B2B bookings in the Northern European market.
  • Building long-term partnerships with the local start-up community.
  • Finding ways to enter the “corporate” market.
  • Establishing a “hidden” sales network by creating non-ordering collaboration relationships with local partners: restaurants, cafes, gyms, co-working spaces, etc.
  • Collaborate heavily with Revenue Management and General Managers to enable commercial excellence in your region.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.

About a 5-star candidate:

  • 3+ years of excellent track record in Sales or Business Development in a B2B environment, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • 2+ years of experience leading rooms division sales at a reputable hospitality brand, with experience of hiring and managing a team of sales professionals
  • A self-starter, ambitious, and hungry for results. Relentless and experienced in identifying target leads, reaching out, and generating and closing deals from cold leads.
  • Excellent Finnish and English is a must (another nordic language is an advantage).
  • Experience in religiously using a CRM (Pipedrive would be advantageous).
  • Experience in onboarding and managing accounts.
  • Organized and process-driven, with knowledge of B2B sales techniques.
