Overview:

Prosek Partners is seeking a key player in expanding the Conference Concierge practice area for Prosek Partners, a full-service public relations and marketing firm concentrated on clients in the financial and professional services industries.

Conference Concierge is dedicated to helping our clients develop the professional networks and external conference engagement strategies they need to enhance their businesses. We develop bespoke strategies to ensure that our clients' key executives can "monetize the mingle" every time they are attending a conference or hosting their own gathering.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, ambitious self-starter who has experience growing a line of business through service innovation and marketing and who enjoys direct client interaction. Agency or conference management experience is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role will focus on supporting the growth of Conference Concierge. Specifically, roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Writing proposals, creating collateral and building decks to sell our practice area to prospective clients. Working with colleagues across the firm to develop pitch materials for existing clients
  • Working with Prosek's professional team to communicate the value of our services and how we can help existing clients realize more value at events from their investment with us
  • Supporting the head of our practice in managing our internal Conference Development team, which oversees Prosek's own presence at conferences around the world. Specifically, this includes following up with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to our workplans, troubleshooting any challenges that arise and proactively raising questions that arise to our team lead
  • Supporting the head of our practice on a portfolio of client engagements, which includes participating in client calls and managing the internal team to ensure all client needs are being met with excellence
  • Supporting our clients' logistical needs ahead of key conferences and anticipating client questions before they arise. This includes tasks big and small: liaising with C-Suite executives, arranging hotel reservations, handling speaker submission requests, managing or participating in private event planning, etc.

What Makes You Qualified:

  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, client services and/or project management, ideally in the financial or professional services space or with a conference organizer servicing these industries
  • Experience managing a team or individuals
  • If no experience at a financial firm, at least a basic understanding of and interest in the industry
  • Highly organized, exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident and able to interact with senior level executives
  • Intellectually curious and great attitude; "no job too small" mindset

Our Core Values:

  • Chemistry, Collaboration and Belonging: Our collegial culture inspires people with different perspectives and backgrounds to work towards common goals as we brainstorm, plan and execute on behalf of our clients and to build our business together.
  • Grit and Hustle: We work hard. We roll up our sleeves. We are not precious or pretentious. We do not take short cuts. Instead, we put in the work and do what it takes to get the job done.
  • The Excitement of New Challenges: We view challenges as opportunities and embrace them. They motivate us to learn and grow so that we can be the best versions of ourselves, for our clients and each other.
  • A Workplace with Humanity: We recognize the rigor and demand of our work. We also recognize that life inside and outside of Prosek can be stressful. We work very hard to run our business with a heavy dose of humanity and to make Prosek a safe place where people enjoy the work and each other.
