You’ll be working as part of the Energy Solutions sales and commercial team where your key focus will be to assess and lead on procurement opportunities for energy efficiency retrofit, low carbon and renewable housing programmes that align to Energy Solutions strategy and our Plan Zero objectives. 

This role in a nutshell

You’ll be responsible for supporting bid writing activity within Energy Solutions, leading the creative writing to showcase Energy Solutions products and services across all media forums. Support the Sales team in identification of new opportunities, creating bespoke proposals, case studies and supporting sales literature. 

You will play a pivotal role in Energy Solutions growth aspirations, ensuring OVO is seen as a household name in the field of Decarbonisation and Energy Efficiency.

Your key outcomes will be:

• Working with the Bid Manager to successfully deliver bids against a pre approved plan for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) of Energy Solutions
• support all aspects of bid writing; working closely with other internal departments to complete a successful submission
• Developing a suit of Energy Solutions marketing literature
• Build and maintain online content across all social media platforms, ensuring OVO is at the forefront of our core markets
• Working with senior stakeholders to identify strategic growth opportunities aligned to company objectives
• In support of the Business Development team, you will gain an understanding of our clients’ specific requirements, market drivers and outputs
• Researching, writing and/or checking proposals

We’ll pay you between £42,000 - £50,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
