Business Analyst III - Sales Analytics

We are looking for an experienced data analyst to support Vimeo’s Sales efforts. The right person will have a strong analytical background with equal parts technical and communication skills. They will have previously worked in Sales Analytics with a focus on data-informed results.

What you'll do:

  • Drive and lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives in order to enable data standardization, increase data consumption and boost data-driven decision making.
  • Analyze sales data and pipeline metrics to identify revenue growth opportunities
  • Measure enterprise customer engagement with Vimeo tools and features and improve retention by identifying expansion opportunities
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain user-friendly and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations in order to enable day-to-day and strategic data-driven decision making.
  • Foster a relationship of trust and cooperation with the stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
  • A sense of ownership - capable of independently initiating and driving projects from beginning to end. 
  • Best analytical mind in town - Proficient in interpreting complex datasets, extracting valuable insights for informed decision-making. Skilled in identifying patterns and translating business questions into effective analytical solutions. Demonstrates a problem-solving mindset and stays current with evolving data analysis methodologies.
  • Extensive SQL experience working with large datasets 
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, keyboard shortcuts, etc.)
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar data visualization suites
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics  or Computer Science) and 4+ years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in a SaaS business.)
  • Comfortable communicating with senior executives
  • A team player who enjoys working cross functionally
  • You truly believe that "getting it right" is just as important as "getting it done"

Targeted Base Salary Range:  $81,900 to $125,500

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
