This is a unique opportunity to work in our growing Amsterdam office and support the development of our operational horsepower in Europe. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of our Clearing team’s efforts to ensure the reliable flow of our trading activity between our various trading venues and clearing firms across the region. What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the Clearing Department in serving as the primary coverage for operations during EU hours
  • Monitor, analyze, and process transactions via proprietary and vendor systems
  • Facilitate accurate and timely reconciliation of products traded globally
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and trade related issues 
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to support new and existing bilateral activity across a variety of different asset classes
  • Assist in identifying, testing, and establishing improved operational processes and functionality
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with other departments across the firm
  • Collaborate extensively with external counterparties, Prime Brokers, and exchanges
  • Document and track the evolution of core processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned or needed

Skills You’ll Need:

  • At least 3 year’s work experience in a related capacity preferred
  • Minimum of Bachelors’ degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields
  • Familiarity with (a sample of) post-trade lifecycles of Equities, Futures, FX, Options, Interest Rate Swaps or Bonds
  • Experience with external relationship management desired, including technology vendors, brokers, banks, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to exercise good judgment and pro-active decision-making in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) in English to both internal and external contacts on a global basis
  • Proven ability to maintain composure during stressful situations 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups
  • A strong attention to detail and desire to maintain accuracy while processing large volumes of data under strict time constraints
  • Reliable and predictable availability
