Mapp is looking for a Contracts Manager for the DACH region to join Mapp’s close-knit, start-up like, international legal team. 

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts in English and German, ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.

• Proactively identify and manage contractual risks, working closely with internal teams to mitigate potential issues.

• Managing contractual dispute process

• Ongoing maintenance of the contracts database

• Interact and collaborate with numerous Mapp stakeholders including, sales & marketing, Customer Success & Customer Advocacy, privacy & security, finance, HR and office management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years prior in-house experience in German law is required

• Fluent (at least C2) both in German and English

• Prior experience at a technology company or marketing automation company

• Good knowledge German Data protection law and GDPR

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• An eye for detail and accuracy, whilst understanding and evaluating the broader picture

• Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment, excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once

• Character and interpersonal confidence and skill to influence senior stakeholders

• Team oriented, with a willingness to “jump in” and support other team members.

• Strong business acumen, analytical and computer skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe, etc.

• Ability to speak French or Italian is a plus.
