Purpose of Job:

The Commercial Intern will provide crucial support to the Account Management team at Deliveroo. Their main responsibilities will revolve around assisting with day-to-day tasks related to managing restaurant partners and enhancing customer relationships, including reviewing restaurant operations, preparing and pitching growth strategies to restaurant, and enhancing their visibility and presence on Deliveroo's platform.. This role aims to improve internal efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the Account Management function, while providing exceptional opportunities to grow your communication skills, pitching skills, client and relationship management skills, and portfolio management and data analysis skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth and ongoing support for restaurant partners
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to gain exposure to client relationship management
  • Help maintain and update data in the company CRM system
  • Support in updating restaurant information, including images, item descriptions, menu details, operating hours
  • Assist in addressing any issues or queries from clients, including those related to tablet, invoicing, operations and growth
  • Support the commercial team on ad-hoc requests, with a focus on improving productivity, data enrichment and contribute to enhancing the customer experience
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of commercials initiatives
  • Assist in processing and analyzing data sets reflecting important client operational, growth and performance metrics
  • Support in the execution of growth plans for strategic accounts, outlining objectives, goals, and actions to drive client success.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients.
