The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join Editions, our network of delivery-only kitchens which connects growing businesses with hungry customers in brand new areas. Your role will be focused on driving the growth of this segment. 

The role reports to the Head of Editions Hong Kong and it will be commercially focused and requires cross-functional collaboration with operations, marketing, sales and strategy to ensure Editions is performing to its best. 

You will have P&L ownership from day 1 and own relationships with some of Deliveroo’s most famous brands and be expected to develop strategies to help your accounts grow and be successful. As a confident seller, you will also be responsible for sourcing and bringing on new restaurant partners into Editions. 

This is a role for an analytical and ambitious individual who is looking for strong commercial & strategic business experience.

You will...

The Editions Commercial Manager will have a broad scope working across 3 key areas: sales and business development, driving restaurant performance growth, and project management of key initiatives. More specifically:

  • Actively sourcing for new restaurant and FMCG partners to continue refining the product portfolio, owning the end-to-end deal management process from pitching, contract negotiation, onboarding of accounts to execution of marketing launch plans
  • Managing relationships with our top restaurant partners through strong communication
  • Working with cross-functional stakeholders, including Accounts Management, Rider Operations and Marketing teams to drive restaurant performance growth and improve operational efficiencies
  • Actively leverage on data analysis to propose recommendations on maximising brand discoverability and order volume sales potential
  • Developing bespoke marketing strategies to accelerate Editions vertical’s growth
  • Innovating and presenting new ideas to increase growth and efficiencies
  • Driving new sampling/ partnership opportunities with established FMCG companies 
  • Assist the Editions team in Hong Kong with any ad-hoc administration tasks

What you'll need...

  • 3+ years experience in sales, account management, business development, or commercial roles
  • Looking for a jump into commercial strategy planning
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfortable understanding and using data
  • Experience in working in a dynamic high-growth company is preferable
