We're seeking a self-starter to join our Brand Comms and Social team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, collaborative, and detail oriented. They possess excellent communication skills, have a data-driven mindset, collaborate well with others, and manage multiple competing projects and timelines with ease. The communications team executes quickly. You’ll be comfortable with ambiguity and change, and are able to take something from idea to execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a coordinator across the team, touching every aspect of the work from earned media to brand social
  • Leading coordinations across key projects and campaigns from concept development, to execution and analysis
  • Day to day team project management and support including creating and maintaining social media and communications content calendars, liaising with agencies and partner teams, and driving deadlines and deliverables
  • Scheduling and coordinating posts within our social media publishing tools
  • Routing contracts and project scopes through relevant parties
  • Working across social and comms to spot opportunities to tie social content to earned moments and help bring them to life
  • Measuring and reporting on brand comms and social KPIs and metrics
Experience:
  • 2-3+ years of related experience in social media, marketing, or communications
  • Excellent project management skills - impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong interest in brand, social media, and communications
  • Solid interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for the work
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with various teams and functions within Lyft
  • Experience working with agencies, vendors, or influencers
  • Bonus? Familiarity with Airtable, Sprinklr, and/or Critical Mention

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected range of pay for this position in the San Francisco area is $76,500 - $85,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
