Data Analyst - Americas Operation
We're a lean data team supporting Operations across Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and the US. We build the models, dashboards, and pipelines that power decisions in customer support, logistics, onboarding, fraud prevention and customer success, partnering with global peers on shared models, KPIs, and dashboards while solving region-specific challenges.
As a Data Analyst II, you'll work at the intersection of analytics engineering and data analysis. You'll build and maintain data models and pipelines while also creating dashboards, responding to stakeholder requests, and turning business questions into automated insights for the Latam Operations team. This is hands-on work in a collaborative environment: you'll partner closely with Latam stakeholders and your Brazil and US counterparts on Americas-wide initiatives that shape how the region tackles operational analytics challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain data models and pipelines (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow) that will be consumed by the Operations teams in Latam and the whole Americas region
- Handle and prioritize data requests from Latam stakeholders, balancing local needs with Americas-wide initiatives.
- Partner closely with LATAM Operations teams to understand how data informs decisions and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Investigate data issues and diagnose root causes, implementing fixes in collaboration with Global and Americas peers.
- Collaborate with Brazil and US data analysts and the Global Operations team to align on models, KPIs, and best practices.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that communicate data insights clearly and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Continuously review and improve existing data processes to increase efficiency, automation, and data quality.
You’ll Be Great for This Role If
- You have experience working as a Data Analyst or equivalent roles in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.
- You speak advanced English and feel comfortable communicating with global teams.
- You have advanced SQL and good experience with data querying, transformation, and modeling.
- You have prior experience with ETL/ELT concepts and understanding of how data pipelines work.
- You have prior experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
- You communicate clearly with stakeholders across different functions and levels, and can navigate competing priorities across local and regional teams.
- You combine analytical rigour with attention to detail and sound judgement.
- You are proactive, curious, and able to manage ambiguity without losing momentum.
Nice to Have
- You have practical experience with dbt, Airflow (or similar orchestrators), and Git-based workflows.
- You use Python as a practical tool for analysis, not an academic exercise.
- You understand core statistical concepts and know when—and when not—to apply them.
- You have previous experience working with Operations domains such as logistics, customer support, customer success, or onboarding.
