Director of Strategy & Operations, Enablement

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as the Director of Strategy & Operations, Learning. This role will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our Enablement organization, overseeing planning and goals setting, and driving growth initiatives to further accelerate Databricks growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Enablement organization, aligning with the overall company objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies to expand our training programs for customers, partners, and employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
• Drive planning within the Enablement organization, driving data driven decision making to ensure efficient and effective allocation of investments and priorities.
• Partner with sales, product and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies to drive awareness and adoption of our training offerings and grow Databricks users and learners.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to track the success of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in strategic planning, business development, and operations management, preferably in the technology or learning industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience in driving results and managing complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for learning and technology, with a deep understanding of the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
