About the role

As the Director of Talent Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in helping Crunchyroll achieve one of its most critical objectives: identifying, engaging, and activating exceptional individuals to passionately serve our fans. In this capacity, you will lead a dynamic Sourcing team with responsibility for sourcing across all disciplines. Your influence will extend to the evolution and establishment of Crunchyroll's sourcing methodologies and best practices, as you spearhead the development of a sourcing function from the ground up, encompassing both technical and non-technical recruitment.

As a trusted partner in Talent Attraction, you will collaborate closely with leaders and senior management, providing valuable insights on hiring progress, strategies, and plans. Cultivating strong, productive relationships with managers and leaders throughout Crunchyroll will be central to understanding and fulfilling their hiring objectives. As part of your responsibilities you will play a key role in promoting diversity sourcing practices, providing education to hiring teams on optimal sourcing strategies, and elevating their proficiency in identifying top-tier talent for Crunchyroll.

In addition, you will contribute to elevating Crunchyroll's standing as an employer of choice by collaborating with our Talent Brand team, helping to shape and execute sourcing and talent attraction strategies. Your collaboration with Talent Operations will ensure that our processes are not only straightforward and scalable but also rooted in data-driven metrics for continuous improvement. Cultivating a collaborative and high-performing sourcing organization will be integral to your mission, along with close partnerships across various internal teams, particularly within the People Experience Team.

The Director, Talent Sourcing role will report to the Vice President, Talent Attraction and People Analytics.

About You

• A minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience within Talent Attraction and 8+ years of sourcing experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Proven track record in sourcing for a diverse range of positions, spanning technology, business, corporate, and sales roles, including specialized and niche positions.
• In-depth knowledge of diversity strategies, partnerships, and tools within the tech industry.
• A sourcing expert, adept at uncovering hidden talent through unconventional channels and engaging top candidates with a personalized approach.
• At least 5 years of experience in leadership within Recruiting or Sourcing disciplines.
• Demonstrated leadership of a global team and management of a global client base during periods of high recruiting demand.
• A talent accelerator mindset, characterized by a passion for nurturing people's development, unlocking their potential, and fostering their growth.
• Proficiency in talent sourcing with prior experience building a global sourcing function from the ground up.
• Proven ability to utilize metrics to guide and enhance sourcer and sourcing performance, aligning with hiring goals.
• Hands-on experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS software platforms
