Director Supply Operations

We are seeking a Supply Operations Director to join our Supply leadership team and lead a small but stellar team in identifying areas for process improvements to improve our internal efficiencies while delivering a best-in-class experience for our suppliers. Our “supply” refers to the sellers on our e-commerce marketplace.You have a passion for process optimization, analytics, and team management, combined with the ability to communicate and influence leadership. To be successful, you need to have deeply honed management skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and collaborate cross-functionally.
What you’ll do
- Work independently with a team of three direct reports to collaborate the Partner Management, Business Development, and Art and Design Research teams to gather feedback, analyze, identify opportunities, and implement new processes with measurable impact on improving efficiencies swiftly
- Manage overall department resource planning, including budget management, quarterly incentive plan execution, and internal stakeholder alignment
- Own department P&L tracking (e.g. monthly analysis of planned vs. actual vendor spend, delivery reporting, etc.)
- Manage the 3rd party tools and processes that support our business goals, ensuring optimal integration while providing regular reporting and general oversight
- Define operational requirements for all feature and policy launches, which impact stakeholders ranging from Finance, Seller Management, Customer Service, and Product Marketing to ensure business changes are managed with the service organization in mind
- Identify key opportunities for business improvement through analytics, quantitative insights, and good business sense
What you’ll bring
- You have amMinimum 7 years of work experience with 4+ years in a business operations function, ideally in ecommerce or related technology industry
- You have a track record of assessing situations quickly, getting up to speed, and adding immediate value to new situations
- You have exceptional ability to co-create and work collectively with various stakeholders to deliver results and drive business impact; ability to build relationships across all levels and thrive in a team environment
- You have demonstrable quantitative and big-picture problem-solving skills combined with the ability to roll up sleeves and dig into the tactics when necessary
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, conceptually interpret, and clearly communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties and translate complexity into action
- You must be highly resourceful, with an intuitive understanding of how / where to get information and apply it to project work.
- You have experience with Salesforce, Looker, and GSuite
