You’ll be working as part of the OVO’s Energy Solutions team where your key objective is to analyse leads and referrals provided to us on behalf of our clients, this will include property details, build types and existing insulation, heating and renewable measures.
You will collate the data and make recommendations for energy efficiency improvements. Your team could be the first point of contact for our customers, so you'll excel at promoting the benefits of low-carbon retrofit in order to help the wider team facilitate the delivery of Government initiatives such as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme.
Our goal? To help our members to reduce carbon emissions and save money on their fuel bills.
This role in a nutshell:
This is a great opportunity to join an exciting part of OVO Energy Solutions, you’ll play a part in assisting vulnerable homeowners to access various government grants to help pay for energy efficiency upgrades to their homes. This is part of an ongoing drive towards helping people decarbonise and stay warmer in their homes as well as the drive towards net zero.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Identifying properties via Google maps and other sources remotely
- Reviewing housing data such as EPC’s and assessment reports, commenting on and proposing new energy efficiency measures
- Calling our customers to discuss and review their requirements
- Supporting the Energy Company Obligation submission team
- Assisting Commercial and Operations functions to ensure the same high level customer journey and customer expectations are met
- Issuing approved literature to customers in coordination with local authorities and housing associations
You’ll be a successful Energy Efficiency Advisor - (Housing) at OVO if you…
- Can read an EPC easily and identify construction types
- Have a background in housing, energy efficiency and dealing with vulnerable customers would be ideal
- Have a basic knowledge of insulation, heating and renewable energy products

We’ll pay you between £23,000 and £35,000 depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
