The Growth Alliance enables HelloFresh to expand by getting more customers to try, recommend, and return back to our products. We build digital customer facing products that are used by customers all over the world. Our teams work at a global scale on services like scalable web mono repo infrastructure, checkout funnel on web and native apps, discounting and wallet services, price experimentation infrastructure, and referral marketing technology.

As an Engineering Manager within the Virality tribe, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the team responsible for front end experimentation and initiatives development on Virality’s technical real estate, mainly refer a friend page and digital entry points. Ensuring initiatives are delivered in a timely manner, across mobile devices and web platform, gradually through progressive experimentation, is imperative for our business in order to optimize for high ROI based on behavior feedback from our customers.

Naturally, this role necessitates close collaboration with Virality’s platform team responsible for backend platform, as well as our other front end teams, in order to ensure consistent cohesive integration of viral marketing into the rest of the HelloFresh funnel. These capabilities serve as pivotal elements in HelloFresh's growth strategy, directly contributing to the achievement of our mission to revolutionize people's eating habits indefinitely.

• Lead, inspire, and grow a front end team of engineers (Web, React Native, iOS, Android) while ensuring smooth delivery of new initiatives and continuous improvements to your team’s tech real estate.
• Drive architectural and design decisions in the team, having a strong focus on the highest quality standards, engineering best practices, and operational excellence.
• Ensure close collaboration and joint decision-making between different engineering teams and stakeholders, especially product leads.
• Participate actively in the tribe leadership team, with the goal to shape and evolve our culture of collaboration and mutual support.

• You are an experienced engineering leader who has a deep understanding of your domain
• You have prior experience in developing web or mobile applications (Web / React Native / Android / iOS)
• You have led front end teams (5-10 engineers) according to agile principles
• You have a great understanding and working knowledge of building scalable software products based on microservice and event-driven architectures
• Nice to have: you have prior experience in the Marketing Technology domain
• You are self-organized and can operate autonomously in a demanding, fast-moving environment
• You can solve complex problems and remove roadblocks
• You are a humble leader, who is able to motivate a team and drive them to their highest potential
