In the capacity of a Go-To-Market-focused Financial Analyst, you will assume a pivotal position as a strategic partner for Dropbox's Marketing and Communications teams. Your responsibilities encompass the domains of headcount and non-headcount cost forecasting, facilitation of data-driven analytical insights, and meticulous evaluation of resource allocation and investments. Your professional expertise is instrumental in underpinning Dropbox's commitment to sound financial practices and strategic decision-making, all in the pursuit of fostering sustainable business growth. In this role, your proficiency will be harnessed to not only deliver value but also to empower your business partners by means of comprehensive data analysis, diligent reporting, and incisive financial assessments.

• Lead the month/quarter-end close process: prepare accruals, review journal entries, ensure accurate financial results and provide variance analysis
• Prepare monthly financial review packages for business partners in order to review expenses, discuss variances and update forecasts
• Manage the monthly forecasting related to headcount, department expenses, corporate allocations and company software spend
• Provide in-depth financial analysis on spend in order to understand and align on business and financial goals
• Identify and quantify risk or upside due to business environment and provide solutions 

• 2-5+ years of relevant experience including 1+ year in a fast-growing tech environment preferably a SAAS based company
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field 
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic understanding of financial statements highly desirable.
• You've demonstrated excellence in financial modeling and analytics. Advanced Excel skills essential.
• Basic understanding of SQL
