Financial Controller About SumUp

We believe in the everyday hero. Those who have the courage to follow their passion and who have the strength and determination to realise their dreams.

Small business owners are at the heart of all we do, so we're creating powerful, easy-to-use financial solutions to help them run their businesses. With a founder’s mentality and a 'team-first’ attitude, our diverse teams across Europe, South America and the United States work together to ensure that small business owners can be successful doing what they love.

Global Finance Team

Our Global Finance team connects strategy with execution across 37 markets. We ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and sustainable growth at scale — turning complex, multi-entity data into clear, reliable insights that guide business decisions.

As part of the Global Controlling function, you’ll work at the heart of our international finance operations. You’ll collaborate closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, ERP, ICFR colleagues and local finance teams across Europe to support statutory compliance while strengthening group-level reporting standards.

This is not just a reporting role, it’s a role where you influence how we operate globally, improve processes, and raise the bar on financial governance.
