Our assets include several out-of-home (OOH) media units such as rooftop monitors and the largest bikeshare network in the country, while our digital assets include in-car entertainment screens and Lyft in-app sponsorship opportunities.

Lyft Media is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Technical Operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of our advertising devices, including tablets and Halo devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities:

General

  • Work cross functionally with the Operations, Communications, Legal, Product, and Data Science teams to ensure ad-hoc requests are completed in a timely manner and make suggestions for modifications to improve overall.

In Car

  • Track lost and stolen tablets by implementing robust tracking systems and procedures.
  • Regularly update and maintain accurate records of the tablet inventory, ensuring all changes in the status of devices are promptly documented.
  • Negate additional costs associated with lost or stolen tablets by implementing cost-recovery measures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of tablet recalls, ensuring compliance in recall communications through collaboration with the legal team.
  • Adjust and manage automation in our messaging system for recall purposes.
  • Coordinate communication efforts with drivers to encourage tablet return and compliance.
  • Review and execute suspension and write-off processes for inactive tablets, ensuring adherence to procedures to mitigate costs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all tablet-related activities, including suspensions, write-offs, and recalls.
  • Provide support to drivers as needed, assisting with tablet-related inquiries and issues when other support agents are unavailable or overloaded.
  • Work closely with the support team and other departments to troubleshoot tablet issues and help streamline processes.
  • Troubleshoot tablet issues and assist the support team and XD teams with technical problems, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.

On Car

  • Monitor and manage maintenance records for Halos, ensuring all necessary maintenance is documented.
  • Send weekly messages to drivers or NY partners to coordinate and track maintenance activities to ensure a quick resolution and minimize downtime.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in fleet management, technical support, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency with technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Experience with messaging systems, particularly Front, is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Must be a self-starter.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $57,800 - $72,250. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
