The Role

As a Global Facilities Manager you will be a key part of a passionate, transparent and inclusive Real Estate and Facilities team. You will proactively assist in managing a complex range of HOP (on-demand grocery) and Editions (delivery only kitchens) sites, and use your skills, experience and technical knowledge to leverage facilities management services across Deliveroo’s portfolio. Your primary role is to lead and support facilities management, budgeting, financial reporting, stakeholder management, and contractor management across the UK with global responsibility for rolling out new initiatives and processes. You will be reporting to the Global Head of Construction and FM.

More specifically, you will:

  • Manage planned maintenance, including regulatory compliance, remedial works, contractor management along with contract management, SLAs and billing
  • Manage reactive maintenance, work orders, contractor management and payments
  • Lead FM capex projects and renovations related to your market(s)
  • Lead global and market specific sustainability initiatives and projects
  • Responsible for market(s) budget and financial reporting
  • Responsible for managing Deliveroo’s CAFM system
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements, policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and align with Site Operations team and other related stakeholders on making decisions impacting the site for complex FM issues
  • Manage and accountable for the entire market(s) FM budget including capex, planned, and reactive maintenance
  • Manage base building assets and equipment within the market
  • Manage all suppliers/contractors within the market, including selection, pricing negotiation, SLA/KPI and contract agreements, onboarding process, regular meetings for project briefings, and ongoing workstreams.
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on active and ad-hoc projects
  • Maintaining documentation relevant to the job role including PPMs, financials, as-builts, certifications, asbestos reports,…etc
  • Engage new Contractors and negotiate contract terms, always looking for improvements to the current status
  • Provide strategic insights on ways to enhance the FM process and initiatives
  • Responsible for 38 UK sites (15 HOP + 23 Editions)

Requirements:

  • You're a proactive, dependable and organised FM expert with F&B experience
  • You have a minimum of 7+ years of commercial facilities management experience. CFM (or similar certification) is desirable
  • You have experience in planning, maintaining and reporting on facilities budgets
  • Proven track record of managing multiple sites in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Professional leadership and external vendor management experience
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in building MEP systems
  • You have a good understanding of real estate lifecycle (leasing, construction, FM)
  • You see the big picture and make decisions based on the long term value vs. short term fixes
