As an International Category Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and supporting procurement strategies across HelloFresh's European locations. Based in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, or London, you'll join our new European Dairy team, working on shaping future category strategies, leading sourcing events, finding cost-saving opportunities, sharing best practices, managing supplier relationships, and driving improvements in animal welfare and sustainability.

• Manage relationships with suppliers throughout Europe ensuring a smooth collaboration and stable operations
• Support in the design, execution and tracking of our Cheese procurement strategy
• Work closely with multiple internal departments and teams (Culinary, Safety and quality, Supply Chain, Sustainability etc.) to ensure implementation of cheese related strategic initiatives. 
• Lead single or multi-market tenders to drive savings and improve our customer offering on both quality and sustainability, taking proactive action on timing and extension of sourcing process and contracts. 
• Develop world-class suppliers that can bring or jointly develop innovative products that will also impact top line growth
• Visit existing and potential new suppliers as well as visiting the local HelloFresh subsidiaries
• Travel up to 20% of the time visiting suppliers 

• Relevant experience in direct procurement with a track record or delivering savings and product improvements and  high level negotiation and influencing skills.
• Degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline. 
• High degree of fluency in English is required for negotiations and internal communications. 
• Previous experience connected with the Dairy Industry with a good background in market dynamics and understanding of the supply chain.
• An interest in continuous process improvement in a fast paced environment
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and eagerness to work daily with diverse and international teams
• Progressive supply chain leadership mindset while being able to be pragmatic to solve problems with impact in the short and long term
• Interest to travel abroad
