YOUR MISSION
The way we manage our company is built on the belief that by giving a WOW service to our clients, we will be able to change the delivery market. How are we doing it? By paying attention to all the details. Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the trendiest places in each city & delivering their products in 30 mins.
This role is for a senior leader (Head of Partners / Commercial Director) of Glovo’s commercial team, which focuses on working with our core part of the business - restaurants. As a Head of Partners (Commercial Director) in Tunisia you will have the unique opportunity to:
- Define and execute the commercial strategy of Glovo in Tunisia:
- Sales (Hunting): Lead acquisition of new restaurants (sign those final few great restaurants not yet on our platform) and allocate resources to keep increasing our restaurant base
- Account Management (Farming): Devise new ways to help our partners grow their business on our platform while increasing the value they bring to Glovo
- Bring Glovo Tunisia to the next level
- Help us reach KPIs and position Tunisia as one of the best performing countries in Glovo
- Setup best in class ways of working for all of our commercial teams
- Work with your team leads to grow our talent and build a great team culture
We're looking for someone who has a mix of the:

- Management skills and emotional intelligence required to lead and inspire a team
THE JOURNEY
- Devise the long-term commercial strategy for Tunisia
- Oversee directly multiple areas of responsibility: sales, partnerships, monetization, etc.
- Analyze business / financial data to take key commercial decisions in the country
- Lead a team of ~15-20 individuals and lead your direct and indirect team to greatness - hire top talents, help them perform, grow and develop as professionals
- Drive, structure, analyze and channel daily work and information with local Commercial Managers - setting goals, delegating, and supervising the team’s performance
- Guide the local commercial teams in order to achieve sales and account management targets and maintain good relationships with our partners
- Work with a cross-functional team (marketing, operations, finance) to achieve quick & quality execution
- Get into details, deep-dive and problem solve. You will make things happen together with your team
- Lead project implementation and translate it into actionable tasks to ensure continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in top restaurants
- Give visibility to main stakeholders of status and follow up on next steps
- Collaborate with colleagues to learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Background
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing a high-performer commercial team; working in multiple countries and markets will be a plus
- Led negotiations of large-scale contracts and you're comfortable of building relationships with C-level of other organizations
Leadership, Business Acumen and Collaboration
- Team leadership: 5 years of experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve collective goals
- Business acumen: Proven track record of understanding and empathizing with clients’ / partners' business models, challenges, and objectives to create strategies and deliver value through collaboration
- Stakeholder collaboration:
- External: Proven experience of at least 5 years in working with external partners to align on strategic initiatives, foster mutual growth, and ensure seamless collaboration
- Internal: You’re an expert on managing stakeholders, working with peers, and leveraging other teams aspiring to do what’s best for the company
Key Skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills, highly organized and detail-oriented approach.
- Problem solving skills, data-driven with strong commercial and analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and/or MS Office, Excel.
- Excellent written and spoken French, Arabic & English skills.
