YOUR MISSION

Glovo is looking for a team-oriented, highly results-driven and passionate leader to join the Regional team in Poland. The Regional team is deployed in all the top cities in Poland, leading our growth and working on delivering on our vision of giving everyone easy access to anything in every city in Poland. 

The Head of Cracow & South East will be responsible for the performance of the business in Cracow and several other cities in Małopolskie, Sląskie and Podkarpackie, and will manage and develop a team to lead such cities to success. 

Within this role, the successful individual will lead a team, set the commercial strategy together with the sales leadership, sign and grow strong partnerships, monitor and improve supply and growth KPIs, and own the Area P&L.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead a team in charge of managing a group of existing cities and drive them to success.
  • Own the P&L, as well as the key growth and profitability metrics for your area.
  • Work together with the Regional Director and the functional heads to define winning sales, growth and operations strategies for your cities, and own its implementation.
  • Identify and sign local partnerships, building and managing a commercial dream team.
  • Constantly look for ways to improve the service in your area, staying up to date in terms of news and trends, and looking after operational excellence.
  • Institute best practices and processes which can be replicated across all areas.
  • Build, scale, communicate and maintain detailed reporting models to assist regional efforts, both on a strategic and operational level.
  • Lead by example in accordance to our values and set high standards for the team.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • You have +6 years of experience in consulting / business development / start-up or similar. Previous experience managing and developing small teams is a plus
  • A strong track record of excellent performance delivering challenging KPIs and / or projects
  • Managerial, 360 view: good understanding of all the key drivers in a business P&L and how to affect them
  • Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating. Ability to work with remote teams through clear and concise communication
  • You are a methodological fast learner who is familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc)
  • Be an owner mindset: You are committed to growing Glovo in your cities, and digging deep to solve bottlenecks. You’re solution-oriented and don’t take no for an answer. 
  • Ability to balance swift pace of execution with attention to detail 
  • Superior analytical skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get it done
  • Excellent Polish and English, written and spoken
  • You live in Cracow, are willing to relocate or to spend a minimum of 3 days/week at our office there
