As our Head of People & Leadership Development, you’ll work closely with the Director of People & Organizational Development (POD) to drive the thought leadership, ideation, and delivery of our global people development strategy frameworks and programs — with the shared mission of unleashing our people potential and ensuring Personios of today are best positioned to thrive in the Personio of the future.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Strategy & Execution: You will develop and activate Personio’s people and leadership capability and development strategy, underpinned by our company strategy, growth plans, and operating principles — measured through clear people-focused metrics. You will shape and successfully execute an ambitious, multi-tiered development strategy that propels Personio to one of the leading and most admired technology companies in the world.

  • People Leadership: You will lead and grow a lean team of top level specialists, providing clear expectations, coaching, and support that elevates their collective impact. You’ll work closely with the Director of People & Org Development as part of the leadership team to elevate the wider POD team.

  • Cross-functional Partnership: You will drive the partnership with Head of CX, GTM & PTech enablement, as well as our people partners to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective prioritization across all people development and learning teams. You will also manage a complex budget, working across functions and departments to steer strategic and cost-effective development investments at a company level. 

  • Program Delivery: In this hands-on role, you will be partnering with the Learning Experience and Enablement team to define needs, shape, and roll out impactful and scalable learning experiences that elevate our people.

  • Collaboration: You will collaborate with fellow PWI partners to ensure our people are equipped to navigate our core people process at each stage of the lifecycle and champion our culture. You will also support and influence the Senior Leadership Team, as a thought leader on all things people development.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Experience leading people & leadership development, with a company-wide impact as part of a technology-based brand. You have around ±10 years + domain experience and leadership, with proven commercial impact in shaping creative and innovative people and leadership development strategies in a global fast-paced, ambiguous and hyper growth environment.

  • Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to continually develop their team and create a team culture of ambition, impact, and pace. 

  • Deep knowledge of the physiology and principles of people development, as well as the operational side, having built solutions that created measurable and scalable impact. You also have experience leading change and building that capability within the wider organization. 

  • Outstanding communication skills, in written and presentation formats, with the ability to partner and influence C-Level stakeholders in a calm and data-centred way 

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel, executing on time and within significant budget you are accountable for.

  • Operates with a data-first approach, measuring your impact with clear analytics and industry leading benchmarks, plus insights to inform future plans. You demonstrate solid business and leadership judgment, always operating with high integrity and balanced rationale, taking all factors into consideration to make the best decisions.

  • People Partner experience is highly desirable, but at a minimum extensive experience partnering with people partners.
