Aligned to a strategic Public Sector vertical (e.g Public Safety, Defence, Intelligence), the ISR role serves to drive additional net new expansion across large/strategic Enterprise or Public Sector accounts, by driving growth in subsidiaries that are uncovered by the AE through new and expansion opportunities inside the existing account.

To be a successful Inside Sales Representative you should be able to build trust and gain insights from customers quickly and translate customer needs into product value/impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate sales by nurturing inbound leads and leveraging a multi-channel, multi-touch outbound prospecting strategy
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Collaborating with your broader team to identify strategies to achieve sales goals and uncover new, high-value opportunities
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Advise on Elastic products and values: Answering potential customer questions
  • Growth focused: Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Developing and maintaining customer map.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Updating sales activities in Salesforce to provide accurate, real-time forecasts for the business
What We Are Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in Inside Sales, preferably in a SaaS product environment supporting strategic accounts or complex B2B sales
  • Technical curiosity and strong business acumen 
  • A collaborative and inventive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to contribute effectively with a matrixed sales team and influence outside of function to drive results
  • A creative approach in thinking about driving efficiency and pipeline growth
  • The desire and ability to operate and thrive in an ambitious, self-starting environment
