Intern/WS - Product Analytics Engineer
The Team:
As a member of the Engineering organization, the Product Analytics & Data Sciences team provides analytic support and a strategic perspective to the product and engineering teams to enable them to make evidence-based decisions. We deliver actionable insights by collecting, organizing and interpreting data about user journeys, product telemetry, incidents, infrastructure utilization, sales motions, and much more. We transform data into analytic assets by conducting exploratory analysis, identifying outliers, validating hypotheses, building statistical models, quantifying risk; communicating findings through well crafted stories and critical recommendations.
The Role:As a Associate Product Analytics Engineer in the Product Analytics & Data Science team, you will be contributing in the data engineering and data operation processes to collect Product Telemetry of our Cloud Platform. You will support the analysis and such and downstream insight generation on Celonis Products to drive decision making within Celonis.
The work you’ll do:
- Moderate and Collaborate with the Product Analytics Community to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Analyse data to derive meaningful insights which supports decision making.
- Build and Maintain Dashboards and Apps on the Celonis EMS using Studio and PQL.
- Build and Maintain Data Pipelines with Celonis on a Cloud Stack on SQL and Python
The qualifications you need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a strong focus on Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Experienced in Data Engineering including mastership of one of the driving languages (SQL, Python and/or PQL)
- Outcome-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience and Openness in working in agile teams using collaboration software like Jira or similar.
- Eager to work in a fast-growing organization with diverse and international teams spread across multiple locations
- First three months full-time availability (internship) and following months 20h/week (working student)
