YOUR IMPACT

We're looking to expand our Corporate Sustainability Department to strengthen our efforts in the three primary areas: Reporting, Environment & Emissions, and Operations. This is how you will contribute:

  • Carbon Intelligence Specialist: Your contribution to energy and emission calculations will be significant to the management of our carbon footprint and is the foundation to shape our emission reduction strategies.
  • Climate Resiliency Advocate: Employing your environmental risk management skills, you'll pinpoint potential hazards and chart a course for mitigatable measures, fortifying our corporate resilience against climate change.
  • Sustainable Resource Enthusiast: Your monitoring of our water, waste, and other resources will embed conservation principles and create corporate-wide understanding. We'll progressively improve our resource management practices through your initiative and consider biodiversity impacts.
  • Transformation Architect: Actively design our sustainability journey by translating reporting requirements and targets into practicable departmental strategies, thus, aligning EQS Group towards a common green goal.
  • External Communication Contributor: You'll also provide indispensable support with sustainability reporting and ratings, helping to position EQS Group as a leader in sustainable business practices by demonstrating our progress and commitment to external stakeholders.

THIS IS YOU

  • You have successfully completed a degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a comparable subject area with a focus on sustainability.
  • You have gained professional experience in the field of sustainability with a focus on carbon footprint calculation, environmental risk management, and resource consumption, ideally in the software development industry. 
  • You are familiar with corporate and product carbon footprints, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and the Science Based Targets initiative. 
  • You are interested in reporting processes and standards like ESRS, GRI, or IFRS and are happy to contribute and improve EQS reporting practices.
  • You have a high degree of IT affinity and are confident in using MS Office and ideally MS Power BI.
  • You are an analytical, self-driven individual with a pragmatic and goal-oriented mindset and a strong team player attitude.
  • You have excellent written and spoken language skills in German and English.
