Role Description and What is Expected: As a Junior Sales Representative (German-Speaking) for the DACH region, you'll be part of SumUp’s dynamic sales team, responsible for selling our complete multi-product ecosystem, from POS to business accounts and many more Software tools. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team, tackling challenges related to lead generation, sales, operations, logistics, customer experience, and marketing – all to drive the growth and success of our offerings in the European market. 

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Initiating contact with leads in the DACH region to acquire new customers through phone and email outreach.
  • Providing innovative solutions to customers' challenges using a consultative sales approach.
  • Establishing and nurturing customer relationships as their primary point of contact, embodying SumUp's values of friendliness, empathy, and proactiveness.
  • Proactively seeking ways to enhance the customer experience and spearheading initiatives to streamline and optimise our sales processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Your profile:

  • You’re fluent in spoken and written German – conversational English is also necessary for the job.
  • You’re empathetic and can develop nourishing relationships with customers and team members.
  • You’re an active listener and intuitively identify your customers’ needs. 
  • You’re tech-savvy and eager to learn about our dynamic industry.
  • You’re excited to play a key role in achieving team goals.
