Airbnb is seeking a Legal Intern to join the France Legal team for a 6-month internship.
The Legal team at Airbnb embodies the company’s innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. Airbnb continues to break new ground in matters of policy and law around the world. The France Legal Team oversees a broad spectrum of matters, ranging from litigation to public affairs, commercial work, and regulatory compliance, amongst others. The team collaborates extensively across various departments, supporting cross-functional initiatives and ensuring alignment with both organizational objectives and legal requirements.

A typical day:
You will work with members of the legal team, including other interns, and folks from across the organization to support a variety of legal functions, which may include: Regulatory/Policy, Litigation, Commercial, Marketing, Product, Corporate, Privacy, Employment, etc. You’ll get exposure to many functional areas, and will have opportunities to work on legal questions for multiple of these teams.
As an intern, you’ll be expected to:
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project milestones
- Complete projects crossing different areas of law, balancing priorities and deadlines
- Communicate with the legal team and other stakeholders to provide project updates and share your work
- Proactively seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
- Actively participate in and contribute to the legal and broader Airbnb community
Your expertise:
This opportunity is for Master 2 student or enrolled in the bar school with the following interests and skills:
- Strong interest in learning about in-house legal practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable reaching out and initiating communication with various team members
- Adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and interest in building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of Legal
- Passion for the Airbnb mission; experience with the platform is a plus!
- Work authorization for employment in France is required and must be based in the Paris region

The base pay range shown below is annualized, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for benefits and Employee Travel Credits.
