Job Description 

We are looking for a strong analytics manager (individual contributor) to contribute to the pricing function within our organization. In this role, you will contribute to redesigning the architecture of price and discounts across brands of the HelloFresh group to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability. To inform this vision, you will establish analytical approaches such as competitive benchmarking, financial and econometric modeling, and A/B testing. You will also help identifying new opportunities to makes this new function best-in-class in alignment with HelloFresh mission and overall culture.

This role reports to our Associate Director of Pricing Analytics and will collaborate closely with our VP of Pricing and our VP of Data as well as the leadership of growth marketing, and technology organizations.

You will … 

  • Own the end to end price testing strategy and framework → from modeling, AB testing, and implementation.
  • Serve as a technical thought leader and build models on innovative pricing topics like geo-segmented pricing and recipe-based pricing
  • Develop frameworks, including but not limited to reports, processes, and analytical approaches to address price discrimination opportunities. 
  • Report to the company executive leadership, translating directional feedback from internal and external executives into tangible next steps and outputs.
  • Collaborate with data science, finance, and marketing to develop a consistent approach to measure the impact of discounts with regards to gross and net revenue, short- and long-term (customer) profitability, and cross-effects to Marketing budgets
  • Continuously innovate our price and discount structure to constantly generate an uplift vs competition.

You have… 
  • MSc in Business, Economics, Math or other quantitative discipline required 4+ years of professional work experience with experience in pricing analytics
  • Outstanding technical skill in SQL and Excel, experience with Python preferred
  • Extensive experience devising and measuring the effectiveness of couponing initiatives in e-commerce using A/B testing
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising (Adwords, Facebook)
  • Solid understanding of econometric models (price elasticity of demand, revenue management etc…)
  • Basic understanding and use of most common machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience building end-to-end data solutions utilizing a mix of the above

New York Pay Range$116,250—$155,000 USD
