Toast is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the team of Talent Acquisition Partners in Chennai. In this role, you will build and develop talent strategies for hiring across technical and non-technical roles. You will lead a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and work closely with Toast Leadership and cross-functional Talent Acquisition teams to develop diverse, high-quality talent pools at scale

 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Lead the local Talent Acquisition team that delivers on tech and non-tech hiring needs in Chennai
  • Partner cross-functionally with Toast Leadership, Talent Acquisition, People Success Partners, and Finance to develop hiring strategies in alignment with the TA head that meet business objectives
  • Drive operational efficiency by tracking and analyzing candidate pipelines, market trends, and org health indicators to adjust strategies and evolve hiring processes with business leaders
  • Lead and coach a team of Recruiters to drive performance metrics, balance req loads, mentor/develop talent and make data-driven decisions.
  • Hands on experience in owning and delivering on key leadership and business critical requisitions
  • Create a cohesive team culture of belonging and inclusion through open communication, feedback & recognition, and encouraging diverse perspectives
  • Ensure equitable and inclusive hiring practices while building talent pools that reflect the diversity of our customers
  • Foster exceptional candidate experiences across the team through a high touch, inclusive and rigorous recruiting approach
  • Develop and promote our employer brand through various channels to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize recruitment outcomes,

 

Do you have the right ingredients? (Requirements)

  • Typically requires 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience
  • Deep prior experience hiring technical and non-technical talent in a growing environment 
  • Previous experience leading teams including performance management, mentorship and coaching
  • Experience in all facets of Talent Acquisition including employment brand, online job strategy and sourcing
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
