About the roleWe are seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven, and detail-oriented marketer with a demand generation or industry marketing background to join our Industry Marketing team as a Marketing Specialist in a full-time role. In this role, you will execute industry marketing campaigns globally or within specific regions virtually and in person and monitor the results of these programs, sharing the learnings and success across marketing. The different channels you will leverage to promote these programs include email, web, paid and organic social media, and content marketing.
You’ll own relationships across MongoDB’s various marketing functions. Key responsibilities include amplifying MongoDB’s awareness and adoption across industries by aiding in organizing and executing end-to-end campaigns that source new leads, advance existing opportunities, and create new workloads across our top strategic and growth accounts.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Barcelona for our hybrid working model. You will report to the Senior Industry Solutions Marketing Manager who is based in London.
In particular, you will …
- Support industry marketing leads in planning and executing end-to-end marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital, social media, email, and traditional media
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to execute and build industry programs and content while ensuring consistency in messaging, branding and style
- Monitor content performance metrics to better understand what is resonating with our target audience
- Closely integrate with regional field marketing plans by executing regional industry events virtually or in person
- Communicate and educate the marketing teams regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional, local, and other related industry programs
- Work closely with the sales and field marketing teams to ensure rigorous follow-up of all marketing leads across your programs
- Work in collaboration with all key cross-functional stakeholders to execute a lead generation plan that delivers significant inbound, qualified leads and pipeline growth for top strategic accounts
We’re looking for someone with …
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with end-to-end campaign execution in a technology company in a demand generation or industry marketing role
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required as writing and editing industry content is a component of this role
- Demonstration of analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
- An understanding of how to drive customer engagement through marketing
- Ability to work cross-functionally with industry experts and various marketing teams
- Proficiency with Google Suite for Business
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and data systems is a plus (examples: Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, Wrike, 6sense)
- Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills are key
- Strong project management skills
- Good humor and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to travel internationally
