We are looking for a highly motivated MSP Sales & Business Development Manager for the UKI market. This role will formally be part of the Global Service Provider team but will align extremely closely with our EMEA organization and specifically our UKI team.. You will be responsible for creating an MSP strategy for the UKI market including identifying net new strategic recruitment targets as well as supporting our strategic UKI MSPs. 

 

You will:

  • Have a strong background, experience and an existing network with strategic MSPs in the UKI market 
  • You will understand the latest trends, services, financial models and news impacting the MSP market
  • You will create a strong UKI MSP strategy including of the top MSPs you want to recruit, activate, as well as Elastic’s existing strategic MSPs
  • Along with your Solutions Architect, you will lead the enablement strategy for each of your strategic MSPs including operations and support, sales and technical
  • Take joint Elastic-partner sales plays, offerings and industry assets/solutions to specific markets for local execution and engagement with our Elastic field sales teams.
  • Joint solution development & execution - Commercialize industry solutions or product extensions to leverage partner IP and vertical expertise with Elastic teams.
  • Create and drive a cloud partner strategy to promote Elastic's own cloud services as well as the cloud services of our MSP and CSP partners
  • Lead and drive our approach on partner programs, partner enablement, metrics, team enablement, strategy, and planning
  • Work closely with the regional sales AVP & RVP and cross functional groups to align on territory based partner strategy, resources, and execution
  • You will develop partnerships with senior leadership and stakeholder management Internally but also externally 

Requirements

  • Ability to range from executive relationship building, contract negotiations, internal team building, channel program design, detailed metrics and analysis, and partner enablement
  • Have a strong background, experience and an existing network with strategic MSPs in the UKI market 
  • You will understand the latest trends, services, financial models and news impacting the MSP market
  • You will create a strong UKI MSP strategy including of the top MSPs you want to recruit, activate, as well as Elastic’s existing strategic MSPs
  • Good understanding and network in the Central alliances & Channel eco system including MSP & CSP Partners
  • Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time, including international travel
  • Understanding of analytics, search, or big data markets / products or ability to learn quickl
