YOUR MISSION

Glovo believes that, by giving amazing service to our partners, we will be able to change the delivery market. How are we doing this? By thinking big, and paying attention to small details. Glovo’s core product is a marketplace featuring the best restaurants in each city and delivery in less than 60 mins.

Our vision is to offer our partners end-to-end solutions that help them grow and optimize their online and offline businesses. We believe that most restaurants and stores will opt for a strategy that combines their own channels with marketplaces (like Glovo). That is why Glovo has recently introduced its On-Demand service to provide for all of our partners’ delivery needs. On-Demand allows partners to easily launch their online channel while Glovo delivers the goods to the final customers with Glovo couriers. We want Glovo to be the delivery partner of choice, and give them various opportunities to grow their delivery channel, together with marketplace sales (like Glovo).

As On-Demand Sales Executive, you will have a key role in the growth and success of the On-Demand Team. This role is the perfect mix of the analytical with the creative - with the gravitas to represent a rapidly growing startup internally at HQ, and externally to the local partners. 

THE JOURNEY

  • Own the relationship with partners for everything related to the On-Demand service. This means that you will be the main point of contact for new sales leads, pitching, contract negotiations, implementation and account management.  
  • Monitor the daily business performance of our partners and help them proactively with ongoing issues and questions such as: compiling and analyzing operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial data and invoicing questions, technical product queries/integrations/bugs, ad-hoc questions. Prepare reports and dashboards to present to partners and use as a source for operational improvements. 
  • Support partners by working in close cooperation with other local teams - Account Management, Sales, Operations, Finance and others. 
  • Collect and share feedback from partners with product and operations teams to generate improvements to our software and systems, thus enhancing user experience.
  • Support defining medium and long-term strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets. Participate in target setting and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) planning activities.  
  • Understand the local environment, and constantly adjust our product to the needs of the market. 
  • Develop an exceptionally well-rounded profile - from commercial and negotiations skills, through data analytics, to legal reviews and software integrations - you will constantly be learning.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Account Management and/or Sales roles
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse clients and adapt your communication style accordingly
  • Strong commercial skills: ability to effectively pitch and persuade partners  
  • Strong organizational and project management skills: ability to effectively multitask and prioritize. Highly organized and detail-oriented approach 
  • Problem solver, data-driven, analytical thinking skills 
  • Multifaceted and flexible profile: willingness and ability to coordinate all technical, operational and commercial aspects 
  • Ability to understand complex software needs, and translate between partners and technical teams. Comfortable working with technical product, and API integration teams
  • Interest to grow and constantly learn, gradually taking on greater responsibilities 
  • Accountability and ownership for projects from start to finish - can understand the entire funnel and identify where to take action
  • Motivated by working in a high-growth and high-performance start-up with a fast pace and multiple responsibilities 
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite and particularly Google Sheets (MS Excel)
  • Excellent written and spoken Bulgarian & English skills
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude

Way of working: 

  • This person will be locally based reporting to the On-Demand Team Lead in Sofia, Bulgaria
