POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a member of our Global Partner Marketing Team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside marketing professionals focused on growing Okta pipeline by marketing to, through and with channel partners. The partner ecosystem includes a number of partner types that are deeply involved in solving customer identity challenges, and our team collaborates with the Partners and Alliances organization to drive Best in Class marketing execution at a global level.    We drive programmatic support that benefits all our regions (Americas, EMEA and APJ) and seek to infuse the Partner Voice across messaging, content and Okta’s global marketing initiatives.  This role presents an exciting opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in partner marketing while supporting impactful initiatives at a global level. 

JOB DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support project management efforts by coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, milestones and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule
  • Develop and maintain templates for various marketing materials, including presentations, reports, and performance reviews, to streamline processes
  •  Manage inventory and distribution of promotional items and swag for events and partner engagements
  • Manage the distribution and upload of leads into Salesforce (or applicable platform) generated by different marketing tactics and channels to ensure appropriate follow up and validation
  • Assist in budget management by tracking expenses, monitoring spending against allocated budgets, and preparing budget reports
  • Cover support gaps for regional activities based on business needs and partner with team members on individual projects 
  • Support the development and execution of partner marketing programs and initiatives, contributing creative ideas and innovative solutions
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in partner marketing to inform strategy and tactics

MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, + ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (2024 Grad)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in standard business tools (ie: Google) and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, marketing automation software) is a plus
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field
