The Role

We are looking for a Partner Programs Lead to join our Solutions Partner Program team. We are looking for individuals who have worked in a Partner Sales Driven Quota carrying role and have a passion for learning new technologies. The Partner Programs Lead will help develop Partner Programs and GTM workstreams for Solutions Partners like Regional Systems Integrators, Value Added Resellers and Cloud MSPs. This individual will be responsible to support the Regional Sales Leadership and Field Specialists, modernize the Partner Program Function, drive effective Pipeline Generation, improve co-sell execution, and launch new sales plays with the Solution Providers.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram Office for our hybrid working model.

Solutions Provider Business Overview

The WW MongoDB Solutions Partner Business today includes 2000+ leading Regional System Integrators, Resellers/Distributors, Custom App Development shops & Cloud Managed Service Providers. These partners specialize in delivering MongoDB products, services and solutions to the customer in regions with limited field sales presence and thereby helping us drive incremental sourced business. 

Program Functions

Sales Execution 

Build New Partner Programs and Assets for Partners

Research and prioritize the focus regional partners 

Partner Development Focus 

(Onboarding, Enablement and Certifications)

Pipeline Generation Focus

Support GTM initiatives like Partner Incentives, Orientation and Onboarding, Marketing Development Funds, Playbooks

Primary POC for building Partner Relations including Champions and Exec Sponsorships

Support regional business requirements quotes, Proof of Sales/Delivery, Agreements and Partner Letters

Drive Incremental Sourced Revenue from Solution Partners

Responsibilities
  • Supporting our field partner specialists with the pipeline generation, sales execution, and partner development activities
  • Work with existing Solution partners to generate incremental sales pipeline with the partners’ sales teams, increasing their efficiency via sales and technical enablement, GTM, Joint Account Mapping, Partner Newsletters and regular partner cadence.
  • Build joint strategies with Regional Sales and Field partner teams to effectively target partners and build actionable pipelines.
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and onboard new Solutions Partners who will open new markets for MongoDB.
  • Onboarding and profiling of new partners into MongoDB’s partner program
  • Effective networking & champion building in the partner ecosystem 
  • Identify business challenges and provide meaningful, measurable and actionable feedback.
  • Support and Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives.
  • Ongoing reporting to MongoDB partner leaders and partners on key initiatives and key business metrics.
Candidates Profile

1.Education: Preferably a Masters in Business Administration/ good to have

2.Experience

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on new business - 6-10 yrs total experience
  • 5+ years generating pipeline and selling in the Cloud/Database/IaaS space and through the channel
  • Knowledge about Solution Partner business in a SaaS ecosystem
  • Experience in Program/Project management
  • Technically knowledgeable in enterprise software, cloud computing, space with familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open source technology.
  • Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales processes 
  • Track record of building and nurturing exec-level relationships with software customers or business partners, a hands-on approach to develop new opportunities, technical acumen, and the ability to close business in a fast paced work environment
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware
  • A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Passionate about growing your career in the largest market in software (database) and developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products

  • Strong research and market awareness of partners
  • Proven ability to open doors, network and forge relationships 
  • Ability to assess the business needs and challenges and provide actionable solutions
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and assess concerns/challenges
  • Proactive provide status updates, follow ups, routine tasks
