This role presents the opportunity to provide operational support to multiple brands across 3 countries in the APAC region. As the singular member of the BP team HR in APAC you will drive end-to-end operations and experience for employees of both the Tripadvisor and Viator brands. Working closely with the business, functional HR Business Partners, and HR Centers of Excellence,  you will get a variety of exposure while executing a diversity of HR activities and initiatives. 

 

What you will be doing

  • The incumbent of this role will be a critical member to both people operations as well as the business in bringing our talent strategy to life in a meaningful way

  • Collaborate with global HR Business Partners to drive and adapt functional strategy in the APAC region

  • Provide input and insight to HR Partners & Business leaders regarding regional nuance and cultural insights to best connect local teams to the broader organization

  • Partner closely with local leaders on the execution of their functional strategies 

  • Be the primary contact on the execution of day-to-day talent operations & employee matters

  • Own and execute local talent systems, administration, and documentation for our local workforce

  • Navigate each countries’ laws, and regulations and most importantly highlight and embrace the cultural nuances throughout the region, consulting external parties such as legal as needed

  • Champion initiatives and resources launched by our centralized people operations teams

 

Who you are & What you bring

  • Collaborative partner demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management

  • Detail-oriented in execution and ensuring compliance across multiple countries

  • Solution Oriented- with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the drive to seek out potential solutions to address and improve

  • Effective Communicator with the ability to partner with a variety of levels and functions

 

Experience and Skills

  • Experience working in multiple APAC geographies

  • Labor law experience in Australia and Singapore preferred

  • Fluency in English language (verbal and written)

  • 5+ years of experience in HR or relevant role

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems

  • Exposure to international businesses (Specifically those based in Europe & US)
