Product Marketing - Video Producer & Editor

 

Why We Have This Role

Qualtrics is seeking an outstanding video producer to create high-quality technical and creative product video content, video demos, as well as sales enablement videos. This role is a part of our new GTM Content team, tasked with increasing sales productivity and scaling our Core Product Marketing functions. We develop best-in-class, consistent, and globally specialized assets across various lines of business, including Customer Experience, People Teams, Strategy & Research, and Industry. Qualtrics solutions empower companies to build exceptional customer experiences, high-performing teams, and beloved products, all on one platform.

In this capacity, you will play a lead role in the production of compelling video assets to enable our Field teams – including Sales, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Services – and to make them more effective and efficient in their roles. You will report directly to the Lead of our Content Production team based in Mexico City.

 

How You'll Find Success

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our dynamic GTM Content Studio team, leading the charge in video production, storytelling, editing, and product demo creation. Your ability to blend creativity with technical expertise will be instrumental in crafting captivating visual experiences that effectively showcase our products and empower our field teams to articulate their value propositions.

 

Moreover, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Product Marketing Organization (PMM), operating at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and the Field. Collaborating closely with diverse teams such as PMMs, SMEs, copywriters, and designers, you'll drive the narrative of our products and solutions and bring them to life through compelling visual narratives.

Things You'll Do

  • Video Content Creation and Messaging: Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop compelling product and solutions messaging tailored to our target audience. Ensure effective communication of the Qualtrics brand voice through video content across all go-to-market channels.
  • Video Editing and Post-Production: Utilize professional video editing software and tools to refine and enhance raw footage and stock video, incorporating graphics, animations, sound effects, music, voiceovers, and subtitles as needed.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video production, multimedia, and e-learning to enhance the quality and impact of our video content. 
  • Creativity: Employ technical proficiency and adept storytelling abilities to craft captivating visual experiences that effectively showcase our products.
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain corporate video assets in a highly organized fashion within our DAM system, ensuring easy accessibility and efficient use.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the overall learning experience through video content. (Example: Adopt new AI-based tools for scaling processes and production timelines.)
  • Production Management: Develop and maintain production schedules from pre- through post-production stages, as well as create and manage production budgets. Collaborate with external agencies when necessary.
  • Problem Solving: Research solutions and make technical decisions when faced with hardware/software issues.

 

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • 6+ years of experience as a video producer / editor, or demonstrated professional experience working in a fast-paced production environment or creative agency
    • Here are some examples of videos we want you to drive from concept to completion:
    • XM for people Teams
    • MXOS2
    • Contact Center
    • Healthcare
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Digital Media Production, Advertising, or related field preferred.
  • Mastery of film production software such as: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator), Motion Graphics (After Effects), and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Keen understanding of post-production processes, including color correction, audio correction, mastering, and project delivery, to enhance storytelling and create compelling narratives.
  • Expertise operating and maintaining Mac computers and relevant video storage DAM systems
  • Excellent communication, detail-oriented, and time management skills. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with screen capture, and any background in product marketing or 3D animation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in collaborative environments, effectively communicating and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Portfolio: A link to a portfolio/demo reel of previous work showcasing a range of projects to demonstrate versatility in style, genre, and target audience.
