As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our product's reach and capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development of our data backend, with a focus on data processing and data storage. The data lake, data warehouse and the corresponding data processing pipelines are the foundation for our products. Because of that you will be involved in many cross-team projects. As a secondary responsibility, you will be guiding the development of our internal administration tools that are used for product instance creation and configuration, among other things.

• Strategic Planning: Translate Mapp’s product vision and strategy into a roadmap for our Data Processing and Data Lake teams.
• Project Management: Create and maintain a backlog, working with stakeholders and the engineering team to set priorities.
• Specification Development: Craft clear, detailed product requirement documents to outline the desired functionality.
• Product Development: Work closely with engineering teams to guide product development, ensuring that the backend infrastructure supports the evolving needs of our clients, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand emerging trends and technologies, applying these insights to enhance our product offerings.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to gather feedback and integrate it into product development.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to improve functionality and user experience.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with data processing and storage, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices, i.e. Data Privacy / GDPR.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development processes and familiarity with BI systems, APIs, and data structures. Basic programming skills are a plus.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for conveying complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
