Lyft is looking for a strategic partner to the business to manage our global Contingent Workforce Program.  The Program Manager will be a relationship builder, problem solver and a change agent responsible for partnering with Lyft departments to proactively support all Contingent Worker needs. You’ll re-imagine the process with your customers in mind, finding opportunities for automation while managing risk for Lyft. 

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively partner with internal teams to understand and fulfill their workforce needs, while innovating and refining our contingent workforce processes 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our contingent workforce management, aligning with Lyft’s broader financial and operational goals
  • Enhance existing processes and implement automations to better manage the global contingent workforce
  • Consult with the People team and business leaders to better understand their workforce needs and advise on the appropriate strategy
  • Establish and develop relationships with all key stakeholders: suppliers, internal customers, internal People team, Procurement, Legal, IT, and other business stakeholders to drive and understand global operational needs, create processes that will drive adoption of and compliance
  • Oversee the continuous improvement process by managing workforce performance metrics, ensuring thorough and timely assessments to enhance staffing quality 
  • Identify areas of risk proactively and partner with People and Legal teams to drive solutions to mitigate such risks
  • Ensures compliance among contingent workforce and suppliers
Experience:
  • 5+ years work experience in project management, managing complex and business critical projects
  • 2+ years of experience in workforce management, Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations, or recruiting / talent acquisition
  • Comprehensive understanding of contingent workforce guidelines and best practices, as well as contingent workforce risk and compliance strategies
  • Strong analytical acumen, including a predilection for data-driven decision-making, and familiarity with reporting and analytics tools to assess CWM performance metrics
  • Strong communication and  interpersonal skills

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco Bay area is $117,000 - $130,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
