About the role

Growth starts with connection. As an outbound SDR at HackerRank, you’ll be on the front lines, identifying opportunities and sparking conversations that open doors for our Account Executives. This isn’t just about cold outreach- it’s about building trust, learning the market, and shaping how HackerRank engages with future customers.

What you’ll do
  • Prospect and research high-potential customers using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.
  • Launch personalized outreach across phone, email, and social channels to engage decision-makers.
  • Qualify leads through smart conversations that uncover needs and fit.
  • Build a strong, data-driven pipeline for Account Executives, ensuring the right opportunities reach the right people.
  • Share insights from the field with sales and marketing to refine messaging and amplify results.

  • A proactive self-starter with a hunter’s mentality.
  • Strong communicator who can write compelling emails and lead engaging conversations.
  • Resilient - see “no” as “not yet.”
  • Organized, able to juggle multiple priorities and stay on top of details.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with sales tools (CRM, prospecting platforms).
  • Coachable and eager to keep sharpening your craft.
Even better if you have
  • Experience in SDR, BDR, or outbound sales.
  • A background in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Compensation
  • Base salary range: $70,000 - $95,000.
  • This range doesn’t include commissions, bonuses, stock options, or benefits. 
  • Final offer may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other compensation components.
