The Role (What’s in the Box)

As the Senior Business Development Retail Media Manager — a Sales Manager role focused on Retail Media Business Development, you will be part of the Nordics Marketing Team based at our Nordic head office in Island Brygge, Copenhagen, playing a pivotal role in monetising HelloFresh’s physical and digital advertising space across the Nordic region: Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

Your focus will be on building strategic partnerships, driving revenue from suppliers, working collaboratively with global and local Retail Media, Procurement, Partnerships and Marketing teams and owning the relationship with key agencies and advertisers. By driving growth and enabling innovation in your market, this role will position HelloFresh as a leader in Retail Media Networks (RMNs).

What You’ll Do (The Recipe)
  • Lead high-volume cold outreach and prospecting to identify new brand and agency partners and build a sales pipeline from scratch across the Nordics.
  • Build and manage C-level relationships with advertisers and media agencies, creating tailored Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that secure long-term media investment.
  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene using HubSpot to track outreach, manage lead stages, and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Develop data-backed value propositions and pitch decks that maximise advertiser ROI and mutual commercial success.
  • Collaborate with the Global Retail Media team (Amsterdam) and local Growth Partnerships team (Copenhagen) to maximise market presence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Growth Partnerships, and Retail Media sales teams across markets to execute effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and campaign performance, turning insights into recommendations while representing HelloFresh at industry events and client meetings.
What You’ll Bring (Your Ingredients)
  • Strong experience in business development, advertising sales, or strategic partnerships within Retail Media, e-commerce, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and long-term media investment with advertisers and media agencies.
  • Strong understanding of the retail media and advertising landscape, including sales cycles, media planning, campaign metrics, and FMCG/CPG advertiser needs.
  • A strong Nordic professional network across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway within FMCG/CPG brands and media agencies.
  • Analytical, pipeline-focused, and CRM proficient (HubSpot or similar), with experience using dashboards, trend reports, and post-campaign analysis to drive decisions.
  • A self-starter and relationship builder with excellent communication skills in English, able to collaborate across global and multicultural teams with curiosity and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
