This role will require a career driven individual who can add value actively supporting the London based investment team within StepStone Real Estate in a Portfolio Management function.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and control cash flow models at fund level, including incorporating updated business plan cash flows in collaboration with the Investment and Asset Management teams
  • Complete supporting analysis on existing investments, fund level performance metrics to support investment teams and to satisfy client reporting requirements
  • Preparation of internal reporting, including for presentational purposes
  • Preparation of client reporting on quarterly basis, including both formal reporting and ad-hoc requests
  • Co-ordination and assessment of quarterly valuations of assets with responsibility for reporting to the Fund Accounting team
  • Monitoring performance of investments against debt compliance requirements and forecasting future performance
  • Management and co-ordination of third-party service providers in relation to the administration and compliance requirements of companies within various jurisdictions
  • Maintain communication with other departments within the Real Estate Group (Fund Accounting, Business Development, Legal etc)

Requirements and qualifications:

    • Preferably 2-3 years post graduate experience in financial services, accounting or real estate organization
    • Preferably 2-3 years post graduate experience in financial services, accounting or real estate organization
    Interest in Real Estate and Investment Management
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to develop further in areas of cash flow modelling, appraisal analysis, valuations and joint venture structures
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail
  • Finance or accounting background is essential (CFA/ACA or equivalent qualification preferred)
  • Fluent English required, additional European languages preferred but not a requirement
