The OpportunityOkta is seeking a Senior Analyst, People Analytics to join Okta’s People Analytics team. You will work across the People organization to enable data-informed decisions and insights. We are looking for someone with a solid technical background, a passion for HR data, and the ability to collaborate across various HR business functions.
What You’ll Be Doing- Design, develop, and deliver people analytics dashboards and insights that support HR priorities and decision-making
- Manage and maintain existing reports and dashboards, including implementing new stakeholder requests and ensuring data accuracy
- Create and update documentation to support reporting changes and promote self-service
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual reporting processes and improve efficiency
- Proactively recommend and implement process improvements within HR analytics workflows
- Assess and support adoption of new data tools that enhance HR reporting capabilities
- Partner closely with People & Places teams to understand their needs and deliver accurate, actionable reporting
- 4+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR Reporting, or Workforce Planning
- 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data
- 2+ years building visual dashboards in Tableau (or similar tools like Power BI or Looker)
- Experience working with tools such as Workday, Snowflake, and Fivetran
- Understanding of common HR metrics and KPIs (e.g., attrition, time to fill, engagement survey results)
- Strong attention to detail, paired with the ability to tell a story with data
- Bonus: Experience supporting cross-functional HR initiatives or change management through data

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$108,000—$162,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as a Full-Time Okta employee!
