Wayfair runs the largest custom e-commerce large parcel network in the United States, approximately 1.6 million square meters of logistics space. The nature of the network is inherently a highly variable ecosystem that requires flexible, reliable, and resilient systems to operate efficiently. 

Wayfair is seeking an Assistant Program Operations Manager to drive our global Technology organization's outsourced labor strategy. This role partners with Technology leaders and Vendors to optimize the outsourcing lifecycle, from sourcing to payment, for Wayfair's external workforce.

What You’ll Do:

The Senior Associate, Talent program management, will utilize Google Workspace, Greenhouse (ATS), and other internal tools to measure program and vendor performance and conduct spend analysis. Responsibilities include overseeing the Tech Contractor lifecycle, supporting leaders from requisition creation and onboarding to offboarding, and ensuring timely vendor payments. Vendor relationship management is a key aspect, requiring liaison between Wayfair and vendors and facilitating contracts (MSAs, SOWs, amendments) with Legal and Strategic Procurement. This role offers broad exposure to all aspects of external workforce management. Your expertise in talent/program enablement will help streamline processes, reduce stakeholder burden, and ensure a positive experience for Candidates, Vendors, and Hiring Managers.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders on process improvements, providing insights on best practices and strategies. This includes conducting surveys or listening sessions, sharing best practices and goals, and advancing the program roadmap.

Data Analysis: Analyze data to enable Business Stakeholders to make informed decisions about vendor spend.

Tool Implementation: Participate in new tool implementations and project mapping.

Process Standardization: Develop and implement process standardization for the Technology Outsourced Program.

Vendor Management: Oversee vendor activities, including facilitating contract negotiations with Legal, Procurement, and business leaders; conduct billing reviews; and manage program-related escalations.

Contractor Onboarding: Ensure timely onboarding and access provisioning for contractors, and stay updated on Employee Tech improvements.

We Are a Match Because You Have:

2-5 years of experience working with staffing agencies and/or consulting firms in account management, operations management, procurement, MSP, or a similar capacity.

Data Analysis experience, with specific tool experience preferred.

Knowledge of various staffing/consulting models, including contract, contract-to-hire, time and materials, and deliverables-based engagements.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with various leadership levels, overcome objections, and make recommendations.

Any Tool implementation experience will be an add-on.
