Our buyers are the heart of our operations at HelloFresh. You will join a vibrant, fast-paced team who work with our Suppliers and Distribution Centres to ensure that we have the right ingredients, at the right time, to ensure customer satisfaction. You will take on a specific product category and be responsible for its successful operations, whilst minimizing food waste. • Be in charge of managing the weekly supply of our ingredients to ensure our customers receive high-quality ingredients in time
• Own the end to end ordering process; you will be the expert on all operational concerns for your category
• Work cross-functionally with other teams in our supply chain to optimise our supply set up
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time, on-spec deliveries and follow up shortages & missed deliveries
• Regularly visit our production sites and consistently communicate with our production teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage inventory of our fresh goods
• Assemble and report on data relating to supplier performance, identifying improvement initiatives for your category
• Assist with cost reporting and invoice validation

• Ideally, some experience in procurement, accounting or contract management, working in a comparable role.
• An organised approach to work and have the ability to think on your feet
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical skills, strong command of Excel is a must
• A “whatever it takes” mentality that drives you to find solutions quickly and whenever needed
• Obsessed with food!
• Proactive, confident in manner and are able to deal with a large and complex network of suppliers delivering a large quantity and variety of perishable ingredients.
