Guided by smart strategy and powered by participation, our work reframes issues, engages new audiences, shifts public discourse, and ultimately drives targeted action and creates lasting impact. Join the team that made all this work!

They know how to build relationships with politically, socially, culturally and economically diverse people and organizations, and understand how to use existing power structures for social change.

Purpose deeply values professional development, and there are many opportunities for growth in this role. We are open to candidates based in and around New York, and are also open to candidates based in and around London (salary will be adjusted depending on region).

CLIMATE AT PURPOSE:

We’re in a moment where the visible signs of the climate crisis are accelerating daily, and more solutions than ever before are within our grasp. The missing piece is to create the will among decision makers to act swiftly and decisively.

Through our innovative Labs model, we have designed strategies that have enhanced the work of Climate Acton organizations and leaders, supported and enhanced meaningful solutions around the Climate Crisis, while identifying ways to unlock the power of unengaged audiences. Our partners have ranged from front line communities suffering immediate impacts of the climate crisis, to faith-based and rural community groups too often silent on the issue, and to journalists fighting against a deluge of climate disinformation.

Our philosophy is that to meet the challenge, we must be experimental, evidence driven, open sourced in our learnings and promote collective action. We approach every engagement from an audience centric perspective, seeking effective ways of engaging them in climate positive initiatives on their terms, not ours. We are committed to an ethic of non-redundancy and we constantly seek to operate in gaps in the existing climate infrastructure by using our strategic, creative, campaigns, and monitoring and evaluation capabilities to help identify new opportunities to accelerate impact.
